LOCAL ANAESTHESIA AND GENERAL ANAESTHESIA
Did
you know that seventy percent of patients in surgery think that they will not
wake up after receiving anaesthesia? Patients are afraid because the patients
are unconscious after general anaesthesia is applied. That’s why patients want
local anaesthesia. The person’s disease is learned, and the appropriate type of
anaesthesia is applied. anaesthesia is the most significant element that allows
patients to have safe and healthy surgery. Though general anaesthesia is quite similar
from local anaesthesia, three important differences: areas where anaesthesia is
applied, side effects, patient’s awareness.

The final difference can be regarded as the patients to sleep, not feeling pain during the surgery. The patient feels comfortable throughout the procedure. Only in local anaesthesia, the patient is fully conscious. According to hospital reports, the patients will not feel anything within 15 minutes after being given local anaesthesia. In general anaesthesia, the patient falls asleep immediately and loses consciousness. The patients who were given local anaesthesia is according to patient who was given general anaesthesia.
In conclusion, Doctors should know these
differences for the health of their patients: areas where anaesthesia
is applied, side effects, patient’s awareness. Human health come first; every
person should not forget this situation. In the future people will be treated
without fear and worry.
